These terms apply to visitors of our website and customers using our dog boarding, dog daycare, grooming, and other pet-related services.
If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our website or services.
2. Our Services

Our services may include:
-
Overnight dog boarding
-
Dog daycare
-
Professional grooming
-
Seasonal events, enrichment activities, and other pet-related services
-
Additional services or add-ons offered from time to time
Service availability, pricing, eligibility requirements, and operating policies may vary. We reserve the right to modify, discontinue, or decline services when reasonably necessary for the safety and well-being of the dogs in our care, our staff, or our facility.
3. Reservations and Booking
Reservations are subject to availability and approval by Hometown Dog Boarding.
Customers are responsible for providing accurate information when making a reservation, including contact information, emergency contacts, vaccination records, medical conditions, behavioral concerns, and any special care instructions.
A reservation is not guaranteed until it has been confirmed by Hometown Dog Boarding.
Customers are responsible for reviewing their reservation details, including service dates, applicable fees, and any special requirements.
We reserve the right to decline or cancel a reservation if a dog does not meet our eligibility requirements or if we determine that providing the requested service would create an unreasonable safety, health, or operational concern.
4. Pet Eligibility and Vaccination Requirements
To help maintain a safe and healthy environment, dogs using our boarding and daycare services must meet our current eligibility requirements.
Required vaccinations include:
-
Rabies
-
Bordetella
-
Distemper/DHPP
Customers must provide current vaccination documentation before services begin. Additional requirements may apply based on veterinary guidance, public health recommendations, or facility policies.
Dogs must also meet our current spay and neuter requirements. Exceptions, if any, must be approved by Hometown Dog Boarding in advance.
Topical flea and tick prevention is recommended. Dogs showing signs of fleas, ticks, contagious illness, or other potentially transmissible conditions may be denied entry or separated from other dogs when appropriate.
Customers must disclose known medical conditions, medications, allergies, injuries, behavioral concerns, bite history, resource guarding, escape tendencies, and other information relevant to their dog's care and safety.
Failure to disclose material information may result in refusal of service or termination of a reservation.
5. Dog Behavior and Socialization
Hometown Dog Boarding strives to provide a calm, safe, and positive environment for dogs.
Because dogs have individual personalities, temperaments, and social needs, we cannot guarantee that every dog will be compatible with every other dog or that every dog will participate in every activity.
We reserve the right to separate a dog from group activities, modify its care arrangements, contact the owner, or require early pickup if its behavior or condition presents a safety or welfare concern.
Dogs displaying aggression, repeated unsafe behavior, or other significant risks may be denied or discontinued from services.
Customers are responsible for accurately disclosing their dog's behavioral history and for following our safety requirements.
6. Pet Owner Responsibilities
By using our services, you represent that you are the dog's owner or are legally authorized to arrange care for the dog.
You agree to:
-
Provide accurate and complete information about your dog.
-
Maintain current required vaccinations.
-
Disclose relevant medical and behavioral information.
-
Provide necessary medications and written administration instructions when applicable.
-
Provide a reliable emergency contact who can be reached during the reservation.
-
Ensure that all outstanding balances and applicable fees are paid.
-
Follow our drop-off, pickup, grooming, boarding, and daycare policies.
-
Promptly notify us of changes that may affect your dog's care.
You authorize Hometown Dog Boarding to contact you or your designated emergency contact regarding your dog's health, behavior, or care.
7. Veterinary Care and Emergencies
If a dog becomes ill, injured, or experiences a medical emergency while in our care, Hometown Dog Boarding will make reasonable efforts to contact the owner or designated emergency contact.
When reasonably necessary to protect a dog's health or welfare, we may seek veterinary evaluation or emergency treatment if the owner or emergency contact cannot be reached promptly.
The owner is responsible for veterinary examination, treatment, medication, transportation, and related expenses, except to the extent applicable law provides otherwise.
We do not provide veterinary services and cannot guarantee a particular medical outcome.
Customers must disclose existing medical conditions and provide accurate medication instructions before care begins.
8. Risks Associated With Pet Care
Customers understand that caring for animals involves inherent risks, including illness, injury, stress, allergic reactions, escape, accidental damage, and interactions with other animals.
Although Hometown Dog Boarding takes reasonable precautions to promote a safe environment, we cannot eliminate every risk associated with boarding, daycare, grooming, or animal interaction.
Nothing in these terms waives or limits any rights or responsibilities that cannot legally be waived or limited under applicable law.
9. Payments, Pricing, and Fees
Customers agree to pay the applicable charges for services provided, including boarding, daycare, grooming, approved add-ons, and any disclosed additional fees.
Our current pricing and applicable charges will be communicated through our website, booking system, or other customer communications.
Prices and service offerings may change from time to time. Changes will not retroactively alter a confirmed reservation unless otherwise agreed or permitted by law.
Applicable holiday surcharges, additional service fees, or other charges will be communicated to customers when relevant.
Customers are responsible for reviewing the total cost of their reservation before confirming a booking.
10. Cancellations, Refunds, and Missed Appointments
General Booking Policy
Unless otherwise expressly stated in a written policy or required by law, all sales are final and payments are nonrefundable.
Customers should carefully review their reservation dates and service details before booking.
Grooming Appointments
For grooming services:
-
Customers must cancel or reschedule at least 24 hours before their scheduled appointment to avoid a late cancellation fee.
-
Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the appointment may incur a fee equal to 50% of the scheduled service price.
-
Missed appointments or no-shows may incur a fee equal to 50% of the scheduled service price.
-
Customers with repeated cancellations or no-shows may be required to prepay for future appointments.
Any fees will be applied subject to applicable law and the policies disclosed at the time of booking.
Hometown Dog Boarding reserves the right to adjust or waive a fee at its discretion.
11. Dog Boarding and Daycare Policies
Customers agree to follow all current facility rules and instructions provided by Hometown Dog Boarding.
We may adjust activities, group arrangements, supervision practices, or care routines based on a dog's needs, temperament, health, and safety considerations.
We reserve the right to contact a customer regarding concerns that arise during a stay and to request early pickup when reasonably necessary.
Customers are responsible for arranging timely pickup and for any applicable additional charges arising from extended stays or changes to a reservation that have been communicated to them.
Specific boarding and daycare policies provided during booking or in a separate signed customer agreement may supplement these website terms. If a separate agreement expressly addresses a particular service or issue differently, that agreement will govern that issue to the extent permitted by law.
12. Grooming Services
Grooming results may vary based on coat condition, breed, coat type, behavior, health, and the condition of the dog's skin and fur.
Severe matting may conceal irritation, sores, bruising, parasites, or other skin conditions. For the dog's comfort and safety, the groomer may recommend a shorter haircut or shave rather than extensive dematting.
Additional charges may apply for matting, excessive coat condition issues, or additional time when disclosed in the applicable grooming policies.
Customers authorize the groomer to make reasonable adjustments to the grooming process based on the dog's comfort and safety. Material changes to the requested service should be discussed with the customer when reasonably practicable.
Grooming is not a veterinary service. Customers should inform the groomer of any known skin sensitivities, injuries, medical conditions, or handling concerns before the appointment.
Additional grooming terms may be included in a separate Grooming Client Agreement.
13. Website Use and Intellectual Property
All website content, including text, logos, photographs, graphics, videos, branding, and other materials owned by Hometown Dog Boarding, is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free website access. We may update, suspend, or discontinue website features when necessary.
15. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by Minnesota law, Hometown Dog Boarding disclaims liability for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of our website or services.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for gross negligence, intentional misconduct, or any other liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
These terms do not eliminate any rights or remedies available to customers under applicable law.
Any liability associated with a particular service will be determined based on the applicable facts, agreements, and governing law.
16. Indemnification
To the extent permitted by applicable law, customers agree to be responsible for losses, claims, or expenses arising from their material misrepresentations, failure to disclose relevant information about their dog, or violation of these terms.
This provision does not require customers to indemnify Hometown Dog Boarding for our own negligence, misconduct, or other liability where such indemnification is prohibited by law.
17. Privacy and Customer Information
We may collect and use information submitted through our website or booking process to manage reservations, communicate with customers, provide services, process payments, and operate our business.

The updated version will be posted on our website with a revised effective date.
Your continued use of our website after an update constitutes acceptance of the updated terms to the extent permitted by law. Material changes to customer agreements or existing reservations will be handled in accordance with applicable law and any applicable agreement.
20. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Minnesota, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
Any legal proceedings relating to these terms will be handled in a court with appropriate jurisdiction, subject to applicable law.
